So many pictures

We still love it here. The weather is warming up and most days are sunny the majority of the day. 

We recently ran the Mustache Madness 5k on Kadena. It was so much fun! I ran with a couple of our neighbors. I love the community we have here. They are so wonderful! 

She's starting to walk now! Not more than a few steps at a time. But it's so exciting! 

On St Patrick's Day, a little leprechaun visited us. 

We were able to lure them back for a little treat. We didn't catch them this time. But we love that we have little mystery leprechauns here!

We have a really nice beach about 20 minutes walking from our house. We have been down there a couple of times this week. I do believe she is getting a little tan despite her SPF 50 sunscreen. 

Maeda Point

We went out to Maeda Point this last weekend for a little adventure. We had heard about this place from a local Okinawan. It was beautiful there. 

We had a great time walking the trail. Somewhere there is a beach. We just couldn't find it for the life of us. We think we may have found an obscure access point while we were driving on the way out, however it was chained off.

There is a website here about Okinawa that has a personal review of pretty much every restaurant and activity on the island. There was a review for a taco stand close to our home called Hungry Tacos. It looks like a mini restaurant on the front of someones house. They don't taste like a traditional taco. In their own way they are amazing. They make the taco shells on the spot when you order them. The taco shells are infused with basil too. They were delicious!
