Baseball tournament
Today is a perfect to enjoy Christian's baseball tournament. We are ready to start his first game of the day and have some fun guests to the field. We don't know where they came from. Lets hope they don't want to chase the balls like a dog would.

more from our trip
It's already time to play catch up. We have been having so much fun and almost enjoying the stereotyped Seattle weather. It's been down pouring. We walked from Steven's front door to the car and it looked like we had been sprayed with a firehouse!
We went and took some pictures with Jana and Pablo and her cousins. She was a bit tired so she wasn't her usual smiley self but at least she wasn't crying in all of her pictures.
Here are her other cousins we saw in Baker City, Or! She learned to squeal really loud by the time we left. That's really fun to hear bright and early.
This dress is so cute! Her grandma Sharon won it in an auction at work. There was a matching bonnet that was really pretty and had a purple ribbon. However, everytime I would put it on her she would hold her breath. I think it's because she was waiting for it to go over her face like a shirt would. I opted out for the ginormous flower instead.
The kids have been getting these backyard safari bug catcher get ups. They LOVE them. They come with patches and a gun that sucks up the bugs. Lady bugs were high on the list of catchable items. Maddie even caught a fly with hers at some point. Jackson was very much enjoying photobombing this photo!
Steven was able to come after all to Seattle! So we extended our trip a few extra days.
Yesterday we made it out to Monroe. We met up with my dad for lunch. We went to our favorite roadside taco truck. It's seriously the best!!

Travel diary
We've been busy!
Monday Olivia was able to meet her auntie Deanna and cousins Elyse. Since they are both pretty small still there wasn't any interaction. But holy smokes that little girl (6 months) has the cutest chunky thighs you have ever seen. We are taking pictures tomorrow so ill post a picture then.
I don't have a way to upload photos from my camera until I get back. So for now it's just a few off of my phone. Above Olivia was meeting my nana. So for her I decided Olivia will call her great nana! She was pretty good for them. We had a wonderful time visiting with everyone. I've been coming home during the holidays when they usually are snow birds so this was the first time I have seen them since we were married. It was so great to be able to share Olivia with everyone.
When we came back to the house Christian and I had a match of Settlers of Zarahemla (version of settlers of Catan). I had my tail handed to me by my 13 year old brother. I forgot how amazing the kid is at games. We had a rematch after his baseball game this evening. I lost again- but not nearly as bad. Only by a couple of points. I couldn't even claim to be distracted by Olivia as she was sound asleep in her room.
She did have her first baseball game today. Christian had a game this evening. His team won 8-7! She did watch for a bit while my dad held her. She also spent a lot of time distracting a lot of the other women. Christian's team isn't the best but they are pretty funny kids to listen to in the dugout. Oh to be a teenager his age again.... Although fast forward 15 years to now and I wouldn't change a thing. Life has its perfect moments for sure.
We are so excited for tomorrow. We are headed to Oregon to visit my sisters Brooklynn and Tiffany and their kids! I'm excited to see them and for them to meet Olivia. Brooklynn has a new baby too; her name is Bella. Olivia is 4 weeks older and roughly a pound heavier but it sounds like Bella is longer. However we knew that my kids would never probably be tall like her kids because her husband Parker is well over 6ft tall and Steven is well, not....

Happy Father's Day
It's been a busy one too! Steven started the day by making ME breakfast. That's how amazing he is. His day and he does something for me.
We both spoke in church on fathers and our Heavenly Father. There were a couple of fantastic musical numbers. One if which was from the little kids. Only a few years and out Olivia will be up there singing with them. The Bishop in our ward loves the chance to hold the babies. So he held Olivia while I spoke.
After church we changed our clothes and Steven took Olivia and I to the airport. Traffic was bad in some of the parts and it made me nervous I would miss the flight. That's me, a worrier. Thankfully we didn't. But security was a bit of a nightmare. Apparently I made it look effortless to the guy working there because he did not cut me any slack and glared because I was going too slow for him maybe? Either way we made it on the plane. Olivia did so so good. She cried for a little a couple of times, but nothing a little food couldn't fix. I'm so proud of her. She even put on a little show for people watching.
We finally made it to seatac airport. Where she was able to meet her Grandma Sharon and Grandpa Larry.

Meeting Uncle Pat
Olivia had a chance to meet her Uncle Pat today He lives several hours south so we were pretty excited for him to come.
She wasn't quite awake when he came over but she perked up and showed off for him by the end.

Washington, D.C. Temple & Olivia's butterfly friend
Tuesday we went to the Washington, D.C. LDS temple. My cousin was getting sealed to her husband and we went to meet them when they came out. We were so excited to be there. It was also Olivia's first time to a temple. She left an impression for sure. There were a few younger girls in the foyer who she had a lot of fun smiling with. She is starting to really use her voice and talk more so it was hard to get her to quiet down once she was excited. In the foyer area, everything seems to echo! So we walked over to the visitors center where I was sure she wouldn't be the loudest. By the time we made it there I realized she was missing a shoe and her bow. So there we were- hot and sticky from all the humidity and she now looks half dressed and I'm sweating all over. I could feel it running down my back; it was so gross.
But it was all worth it to see them when they came out. Olivia was a hit too. Outside of pictures she went from person to person; she did so well. After pictures we all went out for lunch at the Austin grill. I ordered a salmon salad- it sounded so yummy! In the end it was ok. I've decided it's like fruit and cake. Separated they are amazing- combined, not so much my thing.
Olivia has also started talking to her stuffed friends. She has a butterfly that hangs from her infant seat in the car and chimes when it shakes. I noticed last Saturday that she was starting to hit it more on purpose than on accident. I've caught her smiling when she does it too.
Then on Tuesday, she started talking to Ms. Butterfly. She stares at it and sometimes coos and sometimes does a growling like sound. It's too funny. Below is when I caught her cooing at in while we were in Costco.

Play date
This morning we had a fun visitor: our friend Jacqui. She was living here when we first moved here but has since moved to Utah. She's back to Virginia this summer to hang out. We hadn't seen her since she arrived in town a couple of days ago. So this morning while I was getting ready I heard a knock on the door and there she was to surprise us. So glad I was home!! It was great to visit with her. It was her first time meeting Olivia and she was so good for Jacqui!

At home photo shoot
I had other plans to accomplish tasks and projects around the house. However, she was in such a good mood this morning, I couldn't resist.
