My daughter has mad skills. Well, she's learning to sit on her own and she can put her own pacifier back into her mouth. It takes a fair bit of time, but we couldn't be more proud of her. She is growling up a storm too. People ask us if that's normal. I don't know if it's normal for everyone else with 5 month old daughters, but it's our normal. It's fun to hear her makes noises and then to sit there and look like she is evaluating what just came out of her mouth.
Yesterday, we went to Prince William Forest Park for the first time. It was so beautiful. Surprisingly, not a lot of bugs either. Olivia and I enjoyed our walk with Gavin and Aly and their mommies. Steven went and ran with Nick. The best part- they ended up lost and we didn't. Marine Corps wives for the win!
The trail was super bumpy and since I don't have a jogging stroller with big wheels- it was especially bumpy. Olivia liked it because he would use her vocal chords and it would come out sounding like a bumpy ride. She's a crack up.
In the evening we went to Stake Conference for church. It was so worth going to listen and be uplifted by the speakers. Elder Donald Hallstrom of the Seventy spoke at the end and I loved every bit of it.
